Bringing together linguistic clarity and cultural sensitivity

¡Hola, mundo!

I’m Natalia, a Spanish teacher and lifelong language learner. I help intermediate learners move beyond the frustration of the intermediate plateau, toward Spanish that feels natural, expressive and truly part of who they are.

I belive learning a language is not only about grammar, it’s about opening new ways to see, feel and connect with the world.

My background

(And why it matters to your learning)

I’ve always been fascinated by words: how they work, how they shape the way we think, and how they connect us. My own love for languages and cultures has shaped not only my career but also my life. I deeply understand what it feels like to navigate between languages and to find your voice in a new culture.

That’s what led me to study Hispanic Language and Literature at UNAM: to truly understand how Spanish works, not only as a language but as a cultural and human experience.

Later, I became a certified in Spanish teaching and SIELE exam preparation, helping learners go from “I can understand, but I can’t say it” to “I feel comfortable, clear, and connected when I speak.”

I’ve been teaching since 2016, and I’m currently studying a Master’s in Applied Linguistics, which allows me to combine research-based strategies with a warm, practical, and culturally sensitive approach, balancing grammar clarity and real-life practice to help you gain confidence, communicate naturally, and enjoy your Spanish
